Supporting the call to priesthood in our own communities
Dear Parishioners,
For about ten years in a row, Hamilton Diocese had no one to send to train for priesthood.
It was a cause of sadness for Bishop Steve.
Now, thanks be to God, we have four young men who have said yes to God's call.
They are now two or three years into their formation for priesthood.
Their journey of discernment and formation is not a solitary adventure. Their formation belongs to the whole Diocese and to the wider Church.
The Church is built together. Each of us has a role to play in nurturing and supporting vocations.
"I planted the seed. Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow."
- 1 Corinthians 3:6.
I invite you to be part of this work through your prayer and your monetary support. Help us form these young men into good priests.

The Seminary Appeal invites us all to take part in this work — through prayer and practical support — helping to form those who will serve our parishes in the years to come.
