Since 2008, Luke has worked for the NCC and helped manage campaigns on life issues, marriage, children’s rights and freedom of speechand belief. He is passionate about restoring a better deal for families. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Business (Philanthropy and Not-for-Profit Studies), a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, and bachelor’s degrees in science and theology. Luke married Caroline in 2004 and they now have six children.  Recently, Luke trained with Encounter School Ministry and helped the Australian satellite campus leaders expand the reach of this powerful ministry utilising the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Luke caught the faith in childhood, but then rediscovered God’s power and grace as a university student. With formation from the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, the Disciples of Jesus Community in Melbourne and the Marist brothers, Luke decided to embark on youth ministry instead of full-time employment and so came to Brisbane to volunteer a year with the National Evangelisation Teams in 2001 and continued on for six years as a staff member. He is a member of Brisbane’s Emmanuel Community.
