Religious Education Advisors
The Religious Education Advisors oversee the delivery of the National Religious Education Curriculum in all Catholic schools (primary and secondary) within the diocese. They provide schools with supporting resources, oversee the professional development of school staff, provide opportunities for ongoing formation in the faith of those working in the schools and assist Te Kupenga - Catholic Theological College by promoting various tertiary papers/course in Theology, Scripture, Spirituality, Religious Education and Catholic Character.
In addition to this, they support principals and boards of trustees to meet the recommendations of a school’s Catholic Character review, organise the annual Commissioning Masses to bless the academic year and contribute to reviewing the Religious Education Curriculum with the national Religious Education under the leadership of Anne Kennedy and Colin MacLeod at NCRS.
